The Florence Education Foundation is excited to announce the 2nd annual Lucky Duck Dive fundraiser! Lucky duck will be selected and awarded $5,000!  This year we will have additional prizes.  Stay tuned!

The deadline to adopt a duck and join the Lucky Duck Dive is May 1st at 12PM.  

The Lucky Duck Dive selection will be on Saturday, May 2nd at 12PM at the Wilson Park Fountain.  Adopting a duck for $10 gives you an opportunity to participate in a game of skill and be awarded a great prize with the grand prize being $5,000.  You can adopt as many ducks as you would like!

HOW DOES THE LUCKY DUCK DIVE WORK?

When you adopt a duck for only $10, you will be assigned a duck number.  Numbers will be put on the bottom of a rubber duck. All rubber ducks will be thrown into the Wilson Park fountain on May 2nd, 2026.  One lucky duck will be drawn from the fountain at 12PM.  The lucky duck that is drawn will be awarded $5,000!  

The list will be released on April 27, 2026, by 5PM here so you can see your assigned duck number before the drawing.  The list will be updated daily after this date as more ducks are adopted until the deadline. You do not need to be present to win.   You will be able to watch the Lucky Duck Dive selection by clicking on a link on this page.  It will also be shared on our FB page.  You do not need to be present.  If your duck is drawn you will be contacted and get to participate in a game of skill to be awarded the $5,000.  

All proceeds from the Lucky Duck Dive will go towards grants for Florence City Schools Classrooms!
